Women in IT luncheon, Moncton Edition, will take place on October 10. The focus will be: Creating IT-Savvy Communities. Please feel free to forward this to your colleagues that may be interested in attending. We would ask that you register so that we can give the restaurant a head count.
Creating IT-Savvy Communities:
The reliance on technology in everyday life makes it important to engage many different segments of our community into what it is and how it can be leveraged. In this meeting, we will discuss two different types of programs that engage different groups. Nicole LeBlanc of NBIF will be with us to discuss Ladies Learning Code, one-day boot camps that introduce the community to basic coding platforms. Helene Savoie from the Universite de Moncton's Co-op Placement Office will discuss the important role that co-op programs have in the development of talent that our companies need and how companies can leverage these programs to create their future workforce.
