Volunteer Community Manager
CanWIT is seeking an energetic and passionate volunteer Community Manager for our eMentorship Forum on LinkedIn

CanWIT's eMentorship Forum is an online community where we work to pair ambitious students and professionals with compatible leaders and executives in the tech industry to initiate committed mentoring relationships.
Specific responsibilities of the Community Manager will include, but are not limited to the following;:
- Build relationships within the eMentorship community and create value for members who participate in the community by forwarding related content and encouraging participants to reach out to one another.
- Match mentors and mentees from profiles submitted and facilitate communication between them
- Social media marketing – the eMentorship program/ presence through blogs, Twitter, Facebook with CanWIT communications team and management team.
- Be the liaison between the eMentorship community and CanWIT
- Content creation: writing blog posts, articles, newsletters, communications materials, and material for social media channels
- Customer Support: answering questions and responding to feedback via the CanWIT social media feeds.
The Community Manager will possess:
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on social media
- Organizational skills
- Passion for the CanWIT mandate
