A true entrepreneur, Kim founded Gemini in 1990 selling her only asset - her car. a. Since then, Kim has led a team of professionals in the Research and Development of state-of-the-art eLearning, assessment technologies, and Learning Management System technology. Today, the company has an undisputable track record delivering highly effective, affordable, off-the-shelf, and customized eLearning programs across North America. Kim was the founding President of the Calgary UNIX User's Group and spearheaded one of the first Internet services in North America in 1991. She also sat on the CATA board in the early 90s and Uniforum Canada. She took the company public in 1999, and then private again and sole ownership in 2003.

A strong believer in partnerships and community, the company has successfully partnered with many organizations including Complyworks, Levitt Safety, BOMA International, EHS Partnerships as well as other industry experts to deliver and develop comprehensive, competency-based online courses and libraries including The Health, Safety and Environment Resources iLibrary (THRILTM) and the SWIFT Solution for the commercial real estate industry.
