Ozge Yeloglu, PhD candidate, Faculty of Computer Science, Dalhousie University, Halifax
Ozge Yeloglu is a PhD candidate at Faculty of Computer Science at Dalhousie University, Halifax. She received her B.Eng in Computer Engineering from Ege University, Turkey in 2004 and her Master’s in Computer Science from Dalhousie University in 2007. Her research areas are Machine Learning and Text Mining. In particular, her focus is on the applications of Neural Networks to the information management problems. She enjoys spreading the awareness of women in technology by being actively involved in Dalhousie Women in Technology Society, and by volunteering with NSERC WIT and Techsploration where her accomplishments have been recognized with many awards including Google Anita Borg Scholarship.
